The Fourth United Nations World Data Forum 2023

The Fourth United Nations World Data Forum (UNWDF 2023) is a formal project of the United Nations, comprised of both opening and closing ceremonies, six plenary sessions, and more than 90 sub-forums, to which President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory note and Vice Prime Minister Ding Xuexiang paid a visit in person. Meanwhile, Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres also sent a video message and the Vice Secretary General gave a speech on the scene, with more than 20 ministers and nearly 1400 experts at home and abroad from 130 nations attending the meeting.

National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week 2019

The 2019 National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week was another high-standard national event in Hangzhou after the G20 Summit, in which Premier Li Keqiang attended the event and gave a speech. As a local executive organization of this event, Hangzhou Daily Press Group had full participation in the program planning, theme exhibition designing and construction, supporting activities implementing, holistic publicity and marketing, and reception services of guests and merchants.

National Reading Conference 2023

The National Reading Conference 2023 is a conference guided by the Publicity Department of CPC, Central Civilization Office, and Provincial Committee and Government, and hosted by the publishing bureau of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, The third Bureau of Central Civilization Office, Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee Publicity Department, and Hangzhou Municipal Government. More than 30 events were held in the conference, including the opening ceremony, the prime forum, the sub forums, exhibition shows, and reading promotion activities.

Annual National Planning Conference 2018

The Annual National Planning Conference 2018, hosted by the Urban Planning Society of China and Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, was the most authoritative academic annual conference in the planning field. Hangzhou Daily Newspaper Group as the complete solution provider of the conference, has made it the most fruitful one with the highest specifications, the largest number of guests, and the richest amount of content since the first session, which attracted more than 11,000 experts and scholars.

“Zhenxing Cup” National Youth Vocational Skills Competition

“Zhenxing Cup” National Youth Vocational Skills Competition, hosted by the League Central Committee and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security jointly, was one of the Ten CategoryⅠraces across the country. Since its initiation in 2019, Hangzhou Daily Press Group fully undertook the competition and took charge in its opening and closing ceremonies, supporting activities, media publicity, atmosphere creation, and reception services.

The Eighth China International Copyright Expo was sponsored by the National Copyright Administration, organized by Zhejiang Provincial Copyright Bureau and the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government. The exhibition area spanned 30000 square meters with more than 300 exhibitors.

Hangzhou Art Fair

Galleries, artists, art museums, and non-profit organizations around the globe participated in the Hangzhou Art Fair, where multifarious original artworks like Chinese paintings, oil paintings, woodprints, sculptures, multimedia videos, and various art installations were exhibited. The aim of the fair was to build the closest possible relationship between art and the public.

Taking the Qinghefang historical and cultural block’s establishment of “Zhejiang high-quality pedestrian street” as an oppurtunity, the Southern Song Culture Festival was built into a Southern Song culture communication platform gathering aesthetics, thoughts, humanities, and industry as a whole. 

Wulin Import Expo 

“Shop the World in Wulin”. Wulin Import Expo boasted the most qualified merchandise across the globe and adopts a model of organically mixed exhibition halls and international commercial centers. The Zhejiang Exhibition Hall served as the main venue, with other commercial complexes in the International Commercial Center of Wulin Business District, including Hangzhou Tower, Wulin Intime store, and GDA plaza as sub venues, which created a three-dimension exhibition encompassing underground levels, ground levels, exhibition halls, and commercial complexes.
